Aim of the Event

The objective of the event is to bring together key stakeholders, experts, policy makers, farmers, government agencies, research institutions, NGOs and academics in the field of sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. With a specific emphasis on carbon footprint, at this event we will present innovative strategies, best practices, foster collaboration, and advocate for policy measures, while also promoting research and development for sustainable agricultural practices.

This event serves as an integral component of the Carbonica project, funded by European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. The primary objective of this project is to establish the CARBONICA Excellence Hub by fostering collaboration and innovation across the ecosystems of Cyprus, Greece, and North Macedonia, and to elevate the technological readiness level (TRL) of these regions, positioning them as leading service providers in carbon farming through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

This event is structured of two roundtable discussions and a session focused on access to finance. Additionally, as part of this event, during the entire day project synergy is planned for presentation of different innovative EU projects. It will be an excellent opportunity for networking, exchange of knowledge and experiences for all interested parties.
